Any1 know the specs of the original door speakers that came in a standard polo. They are blue. Just need all i can know, as im upgrading my sounds but i may consider keeping these, as the pack a lot of punch for standard speakers.

Also i have found a problem with my wiring of my stereo and need to switch the power wires around (yellow and red) as my stereo doesnt switch off when the ignition is turned off. If i were to change these power wires around should i disconnect the fuse for the radio and central locking off to work on it as live power may be through??? any ideas???

I had the problem of my headunit not remembering any of the things i stored in.

I joined the red and yellow together with a small wire between them. This allows u to use the head unit while the ignition is turned off and now stores all my things. On my new alipne headunit i can switch these anyway so its easier to do.

I did this while the engine was off but the fuse left in - no probs
