Do any of your mates drive modified cars?

Or are you alone in your interest?

Mine's in the company of a reasonable sized crowd of modded cars.

We have:

Rhys, Focus - this has had several 4 digit installs in it, and is in the latest issue of Fast Car pictured at a cruise with its' boot open, showing off the install ready to accept 24 subs (previously owned- noisy Fiesta with lots of smoothed stuff, RS1600i with LSD, knackered Orion with 4" flame blowing exhaust):

Image

Chris, Calibra - very shiny it is too (previously owned- leprous Fiesta, sort of Euro look 106):

Image

Loz, MG ZR - to be replaced with a Hyundai Coupe shortly, hence the wheels being on the Calibra above now (previously owned- go-kart Clio, I loved that car!):

Image

Grant, Corsa - also very shiny:

Image

Ian, Calibra 16v - On the end because it's not actually that modded, it may smoke, but it goes like stink and seems to be absolutely indistructible. Better, lower profile tyres and an induction kit are the only mods here (previously owned- two doomed Sierras, both are now dead).

most of my friends drive modded cars, a lot of them are into Jap cars with only a few into vw, in Ireland a very high percentage of young males have some mods done to their cars, even if its only exhaust and decent rims, its becoming rare to see a young buck in a standard car.

yeh most of ma mates drive mod'd cars, from the likes of Genesis Gt & MK4 Scotland on here to Honda Civics with custom exhaust, 18s & a full install. Infact i no 3 guys who have vey mod'd Civics. All my mates have such a wide range of cars tho, 1 has a brand new Audi A3 wif 20"s on it, then theres a white low Focus on 17"s or a slamed punto wif 15"s, body kit & graphics

My bestest mate Ben has a MK3 Golf GTI on 8&9x16" Schmidt Modernlines. Am trying to find out why Fotopic is down as the pic of it is on there.

My other bestest mate Matt has a standard 306 D Turbo, got by me from work. He wants to send it to Allard and get lots of work done to it :D He previously had a stripped out rally slag look Nova and a Memory Red (MK4 Polo colour) Corsa SRi Van, as well as an Indian Red MK3 and a SEAT Ibiza.

Everyone at work has modified cars, these include a 200bhp Civic VTi 4 door, a Prelude VTEC on 18s, a Clio 16v on 17" BBS RK2s, and a 350bhp Impreza P1

I'm pretty much alone :( Did have one friend with a mildly modded mk2 golf 1.8 gl, but he stacked it taking a bridge too fast and ended up with a tree in the middle of the engine bay.. he now drives a 1.2 16v punto, which, it has to be said, is a cracking little car, but he doesn't have any plans for it other than a set of alloys and a half decent set of speakers... other than that all my friends either drive knackered old metros and fiestas, or brand new corsa's and clios that their parents bought them that they'll never really show any interest in..

Likewise with GroovyCarrot, none of my friends drive modded cars...but then most of them are girls, one drives a Peugeot 307 and the other has a battered Micra...then I have Josh who is solely responsible for my interest in modding but my father to blame for my interest in dubs...and then I have all of you guys who all drive quality cars!

Well, my mate Mark has a 306 DTurbo which I am trying to persuade him will look better with a subtle drop, some clear indicators and GTI-6 alloys! Before that he had a 205 DTurbo with GTi 1.9 alloys that rubbed like crazy on the back arches when anyone or anything was in the back :?

Couple of guys at work have mildly tweaked rides, one has a Saxo in factory blue with the bump strips and mouldings that go round the car sprayed in silver, bit of ICE, induction kit and the standard wheel trims until he gets some suitable alloys (last set were too wide). The other chap has a black 106 GTi with a Mania front bumper, morettes and a couple of engine mods inc. de-cat pipe and bean-can zorst... thats about it really. On the plus side I found out that a modded black Polo I've seen about town parks near work so I'm off to flyer it on Monday morning

Know a few people back home with modified cars, but no one at uni.

One of my mates as a 306 D Turbo dropped on 17s, with a couple of subs in the boot. Bit of an unlucky car as he had two crashes within the first month of getting it

Know another guy with a Civic Jordan dropped and with a Spoon Sports exahust, sounds great when the VTEC comes on.

And someone with a Renault Megane Cabriolet dropped on 17s.

Then my Dad used to have an Impreza STi with a Prodrive back box, until he got rid of it and got a new A6 :(

lovely...is that the front lip from the FQ-400 ? wondered why the fq400 looked more 'chunky' at the front, definately makes the front of your 340 looks much more complete IMO, nice :)
Edit: just read on your web sites its a do-luck item, looks perfect!
