Fog Light Wires

does the mk5 have relays and wiren for vw fog lights already there ?

As far as I'm aware they should be there. My 1.0 does has them anyway.

yup, all the wires are all ready there, when u remove the little the two outer lower grills, have a look inside and u should spot some wires with a plug thing on the end of them!

Managed to get a set of VW originals , brand new for 50 quid Grills / Switch and 2 fogs :D



Guy bought them and never fitted them, then sold the car. Has to be the best bargin for the car yet :|

fogs are easy to fit, just watch the plastic lugs. They're stiff as hell and if you don't have a good grip on them when you're trying to get the screw thru you stab yourself in the hand with a srewdriver and render yourself pretty much incapable of completing the job (I speak from experience).

To fit and wire up they took a little over 2 hours (including 30mins for application of large plaster and kisses from girlfriend for freshly stabbed hand)

Yeah , there pritty simple. To be honest they took me under 30minutes to complete with switch.

Look good as well. Next up GTi Splitter...
