Vag-Com Lead

Just seen a vag-com lead on ebay for £25 + postsge, its from china 
Just wanted to know if anyone has got from china, if not where should i get one from. if i get one i'll have to get a cheap laptop to use it. ODB 2 connecter used it that compatable with 97 polo 1.4 16v. Does it clear faults?
