Alrite peeps. New here this is my first post
ive removed the polo letters on my boot in the first step to a boot flush but
I read on here to de-badge the rear badge (the vw sign) would leave an indentation in the boot, but i spoke to a fella at veedub and he reckons theyre just stuck on.
whose correct?

Hi nickyboy - welcome to the forum!
In a way, you and the fella at veedub are both right. The rear VW badge
is stuck on, and there
is an indentation left behind when you remove it! Nothing a good bodyshop can't sort out mind you

Hmmm, maybe its time for me to remove the 'POLO' lettering from my pride and joy too? Enough people keep saying "oh, nice Golf Si" anyway, silly sods!
Keeping the GTi badges on front and back though

easiest way with no chance of damage to remove badges is get the hairdryer on them for 30/40 secs then get a piece of dental floss and it slides through leaving a bit of sticky residue that can be rubbed and then polished off...
