does anyone know if the cw 6 cd player is compatilbe with any other head unit apart from the original vw head units?

I looked into this before mate, but couldnt find anything compatible at the time.
I settled for adding an amp and sub to the gamma head unit, with a sub level controller in series.
The gamma unit is BLAUPUNKT and the dash mounted 6 cd changer is SONY.
