Polo MK5 interior dash light

I have a polo MK5 1.4TDI , and I have a problem when I switch on the lights, my dash light near the fan control does not light up . I think I have to replace the bulbs. Any one knows how to replace the bulbs pleasE?

Yes it's a bulb, part: N 017 751 2 (i think)
You can pull out the central knob in the cluster and you should see the bulb there to replace
I took mine apart piece by piece, as I could not shift the middle knob easily, easy to do, no need to remove it from the central dash or anything

thanks for the info. just to understand my point i have no light near the fan control , where there are 3 knobs(fan switch, hot and cold, fan position) . all there is no light. So if I undestand , i need to take out the 3 knobs. Is that right?

yes that is correct. under the middle knob is the bulb, one bulb is used to illuminate all the controls
