well ye could bid on the brochure ------ it's only 99p at the moment :D
then you could make it about as high rez as any available scanner could handle.... if we assume the pic is about 3x2 inches and you have a scanner with a sharp 600dpi optical rez, then that's a nice 1600x1200 2-megapixel screen-filler ;)

I can't remember to be perfectly honest. I just saw the image, saved it and that was that. Thought I might have added it to my bookmarks but I haven't. Sorry guys!

auction's still open!

might bid for it myself if no-one else is going to lay down the necessary two quid fifty (it's a ludicrous £1.50 postage..)

PS the wikipedia derby page actually has a link to a montrohuge version...
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/s ... by1979.jpg

1457 x 826 pixels should be enough for a 7 x 4 inch image at around 208 dpi ---- close to the resolution some photo shops actually use for APS reprints with digital developing systems. (worked on the counter at one, briefly - in fact that might be the official size, as its more like 216dpi - but they dont quite give you the full 7x4 inches, more like 6.8 x 3.9..)

i.e. reasonably large and sharp.

Or you could have an almost A4-filling 9.7 x 5.5 inches (it'll cover the width of most people's chests) at a still pretty good 150dpi.
(that's rubbish for text but perfectly fine for images until someone has their nose against your sternum)

That reminds me of this t-shirt I saw a girl wearing once and it read:

"I can see your mouth moving but all I hear is blah blah blah"
