TBH most of plates that have "no screws" are stuck on using sticky pads..... makes it look flush

Just use the sticky pads, they will be fine. They are really sticky so you dont need to worry about them falling off.

Is it halfords you can get these from? I'm gonna attach my new set of plates to the car with them, the screws are annoying even if they are there for good reason!
How many do you guys use to attach the 'plate? 3 or 4 I would guess?

water from rain / washing car does not affect them?

my rear plate's been held on with the things for about 2 years now and it's had some vigorous washings / weather-lashing. it'll stay on, don't you worry.
(getting it off if you go for a custom plate at any point might be the problem!)

as said earlier, halfords do sticky numberplate pads. if i remember writely they come in two different thiknesses. i believe they were 1mm and 6mm. think the idea of using the thicker ones was for cars with a curve where the numberplate goes.

I used the Autoglym Grease/stuff remover. Ive Had my plates on for like a year now, never had any problems with them.

Yeh works great on the front of my MK4, just work on the back tho due to two big sticky out bits where the screw go on the boot
