if you brouse some magasines you will prolly notice that no one sells any suspension that lowers the mk5 more than 80mm (although some are capeable) here is the list of things that might be concidered bad when you go to -11 centimeters :
Note; this is with 195 45 15`s because with 195 50 15 tyres you will start rubbing at -60 roughly

bottom arm rear bush ripped (solution replace bush/arm)
drive shaft hits chassis leg
anti roll bar hits chassis leg
drive shaft hits the rear of the sump causing the wireing loom to get ripped up and breaks its support causing it to got against the crank pully
you cant use the omp shid plate because it just sits on the floor
if you have a front lower strut brace it will not thank you
if you dont have a front lower strut brace then the sump wont thank you
you will actually bottom out on those rubber speed bumps at maccy d`s
if you have a large exaust below the rear bumper then it will touch the floor under hard cornering

however
i was running 7x 15 wheels on i think a 28 mm offset and my arches are only modifed by the rubbing when i was running 50 profile lol  but even at -11cm i bibnt rub at all unless i was really being silly
for reference i am using KW variante 2 coilovers and even though i was running them at nearly full hard i used to get a lot of compliments about how comfy the ride was even from people who dont like modified cars :D

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
ps i know im using a jack on the sump but i was working on the bottom arm and to get to the front horizontal bolt you have to raise the engine and since i dont have a hoist then cue the bottle jack :D

heres one more because since im running stock bumpers for now she doesnt look as low as she is (hence me keeping going lower) but i think that this one might help understand (it makes more sence when youve spent many hours living under your mk5)
Image
the photografed area is the same as above (under engine) and this is at -110

EDIT:: if you look at the gap under the sills you may understand why i may not be fittign side skirts as the ground in front of my garage has a little decent so i would rip them up as when in slammed mode as i already touch the sill on the floor occasionally

i just thought while i was writing this, what if i ended up being the lowest polo in europe haha because some of the really low cars use body mods to look lower wheras im 100% real low
