Has anyone ever removed cockpit on polo mk1. I removed all screws, wires, everything, but it won't come off like something is holding it right at the top, near the windshield.
Please help so I don't need to brake it

hi Fog, here goes open the bonnet and remove the black plastic splash shield and the battery, along the fire wall (bulkhead) they are some nuts remove these (i think theres 4) and the cockpit can be removed.

battery is removed, heating system also
what is bulkhead? fusebox?
perhaps you could take these two pictures and mark where are these nuts located, although I think I removed them all, because I can lift the cockpit very high (like "rotate" it round it's very top end where something is still holding)
please don't comment car's condition

I looked for those two bolts you said and it came out that I removed them already just as I supposed, didn't have time to remove the plate holding fuses though, but I doubt that's what's holding the cockpit because as I said alredy I can "lift" it very far up but there is something still holding it at its' very top near the windshield
how did you remove it, pulling it towards where?
