Speaker cable snapped?

hey peeps
my left side door speaker stopped working on my 6n,when i use to open the door,it use to go off,but came back on when closed, but now it has stopped working altogether.

the left side tweeter still works, and i've checked the plugs on the back of the speakers,so im guessing the wire has snapped somewhere?but as the tweeter works where would the fault be?between the tweeter to the door speaker?

also can anyone tell me if it is posible to unclip the rubber tube thing, that goes from the door to the cabin(when doors open)with the wires goin through it?
hopefully if i can get to this,i may not have to remove the door card.?

cheers

apparently the connector screws off from the A pillar, but you need a bit of force to do it!

seems odd for the wire to break, but anything is possible

it also goes to the tweeter wire, then down from the tweeter to the woofer. but the door opening and closing making the speaker go off seems like it's near the A-pillar connector.

got it off, took the connector off, pulled the rubber back ,to find my speaker cable snapped in half,so i joined it back together and all good again :)
