I'm gonna be gettin' a drivers side wing mirror casing..... The bit that's body coloured..... Do they come pre painted or are they unpainted???? Just wanted to know whether i was gonna have to add the cost of having it sprayed onto the price for the mirror.

You'll probably find that they are sold 'ready to paint' so i would recalculate your funds for spraying, if you daont fancy doing it yourself

They come unpainted. When mine got knocked off i've got the receipt for casing, primering and painting and then labour- easy to fit though I was just getting the most out of the moron that drove into me.

when mine got knocked off as well, it cost £13.50 from the vw dealer and came primed ready 2 be sprayed.

I think i'll get a quote off the local dealers to see how much they charge..... I'm also toying with having the black part along the bottom of the front splitter painted too so i'll ask about both..... The outer casing on the wing mirror is split in the bottom outside corner and is superglued at the moment but i wanna make a perm. job of it eventually.
