any body actually know for fact if a side exit exhaust is legal or not.
really want one but dont know whether they are legal.

could someone also tell me the advantages and disadvantages of having one. cheers

I had one on my Lupo for a while.
Lost a lot of back pressure due to the lenth of the thing, and the fact it lost the main back box.
Was fine while on lowering springs, but used to be about 2mm from the ground when I dropped it on coils so used to hit when I went around a roundabout.

Yes they are legal (its only an exhaust) but not very practical.

Was cool as hell though
