hey, jus wandering if any one in here has had the same problem as me with the inside drivers door handle. over the last month my handle gradually became stiffer and now it does not open at all so ave got 2 look like rite d**k when trying to get out of the car i.e winding my window right down and opening from outside!! it can get really embarassing at petrol stations so if any one has any ideas of what i can do, because i'm guessing if i take it 2 my local vw dealer the will shout for a rediculous amount !

Not too sure on this one mate, sounds like you will have to remove the front door card and inner plastic liner and investigate the problem further !
Once you strip it down you can see pretty much all of the inside locking mechanism and take it from there ! Might just be something that needs greasing up or something, let me know how you get on !

PS: when you remove the door card, make sure you remove the screw that is round the front edge of the door card just to the left of the wing mirror ! It is usually a furry screw (no sly comments please )
