hi every 1
Im looking to buy an induction kit for my polo but i hav no idea if its 8 or 16 valve its a 1.4 mpi acording to insurance its 75bhp.
Any help will be most appreciated

If it's a 1.4 mpi then it's an 8v 60bhp. If it says 1.4 16v on the engine cover then it is a 16v 75/100bhp engine.

your best bet is to get a k&n 57i from

its listed as vw polo 1.0/1.4/1.6 8v (95 on) 55.99 Bargain!
i've got this currently on my mk5 and it fits a treat.

do I have to get rid of the engine cover thought I think it looks good with it
i think ive been paying to much on insurance. thats never good.

yes you have to remove engine cover otherwise it wont fit
heres what i've done to combat this
whats happened wit your insurance then?

Its insured as a 75 bhp not 60 so it must be more money
how much effort did that engine cover take cause im a bit kack handed with a jig saw

it weren't too hard at all mate, just gotta believe in yourself
imo it makes it look abit more presentable than with the cover off.

its a bit of a state under it a while ago i found a carbon fiber engine cover but since i havent bin able to find it again
