Has anyone perfrmed this mod and wished they hadn't?

I really want to do it but fear the bridge may overload the motor resulting in needing to forkout s**t loads on parts and labour.

Can anyone halp???

Cheers

eh? If you've already got electric windows then you don't need any more buttons, just a small piece of metal (called a bridge I think) to replace a relay. If you haven't checked the guide in the DIY section try that, it should answer any questions.

I'm sure I saw one on ebay a long time ago, but I can't see anything now.
Try asking in VAG parts (bottom of the forum list), Martyn may be able to give you a list of parts & prices required, or somebody else on the forum if they have done it.

Basically you set it up so that you don't need the key in the ignition to use the windows. They always work.
