The body is mk2 - but it has a few mk3 bits including dashboard and door cards.

Mark2 with a Mark3 interior, the rear lights, front wings, and front end give it away. Though it can be hard these days lol. Especially when theres a Mark2 going round with Mark3 interior, and Mark3 rear end, with Golf wheel arches finished in Audi nimbus grey.

it's a batmobile is what it is. bloody right on. germans dont mess about when it comes to their cars i guess!

that mk2 cabrio --- is that a 4 seater?! (unlike the semi-official mk3 ones). Looks like it could be...
(why o why didn't they just start with the saloon body in the first place rather than bodging it into a hatch/coupe which hasnt the storage space for the lid and making it into a far-too-squat saloon?)
