Civic Type-R's

Hi all,
Well not been online for quite a while due to my other half's mum passing away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago........ Things go on though and the missus has decided that now that her mum is no longer with us she is gonna get rid of the IS200 and probably get a Civic Type-R, (Her mum was disabled so the Type-R wasn't an option then). She'll be lookin' at gettin it at the end of this year / start of next year probably and will more than likely go for something like an 05 reg car rather than getting a brand spanker.
A couple of things i wanna know though from anybody who knows someone with one of the little beasties..............
1. Any good / reccomended CTR groups like uk-polos.net that we could join???
2. Does anybody know if the new / present facelifted cars have xenons or just halogens behind those jam-jar bottom lenses on the front??? (Still can't get over the fact that front fogs and air-con only seem to be options rather than standard!!!!!).
Anyhows any info would be appreciated
Cheers
Dave.
