Okay guys its been a while since my last post as ive been busy at work and saving up for my polo. Theres a few things that i want to get but dont know whether i can get it for my 1 litre 6n2 heres the list

Short-shifter (don't know whether it will work with the push down reverse gear select?)

Lighter flywheel

Coilovers - which ever set lowers the polo more.

New front seats

GTI Splitter

And some angel eye headlights

Can you guys help me out with where i can get these parts and for how much? I know the short-shifter and flywheel wont make much difference but would like them anyway.

The GTi splitter is best sourced from your local friendly Volkswagen dealership for about £35-40. Its a bugger to post so that's probably the best option, plus you're getting a brand new one for your hard-earned.

You might want to speak to JBS in Chesterfield about the short-shifter. I've got a B&M kit for my GTi which they have modified slightly to fit, it is the kit for the Golf Mk3 VR6 originally. They might be able to advise on if the kit will fit a 1.0-litre Polo's gearbox as well as the GTi's? My kit was £150 inc. the group buy discount, so might be a little more now...

Coilies, lots of places for those mate! FK highsports might fit the bill. Somewhere around the £400 mark?

Angel eye headlights can also be sourced from an FK reseller. £150-200?

Flywheel - no idea on that one, sorry :?

New front seats... well you could keep an eye on Ebay and on the forums for GTi-spec front seats to come up for grabs, or even the whole Polo GTi interior inc. rear bench and door cards! Otherwise Cobra might do something you like? Don't know how much you would need to secure a pair though, maybe £250?

HTH

Cheers
