Has anyone attempted a nice boot install in there MKVI Polo yet I'm starting one this weekend in an attempt to finish it before Edition 38 among other things.
I might of won the VW festival polo class with it but it wont stand any chances at Edition 38 if I dont put in alot more work.
So anyone any ideas or pics.

well i have had a standard install but wanting to do an install
well i have spent £1000 on my sound sytem, i have a alpine CDR-9847R headunit, a 500/1 JL AUDIO amp and a W3v2 12" sub, which was proffesionally done. and will be adding a second sub after i have my wheels, exhaust and tints which should be complete this month, and then maybe start on an install.
so i think it needs a proper install to set it off, i was thinking about fiberglass and maybe some neons inside parts of it so it glows, thinking about blue neons, what is adition 38, where abouts do you live in west yorkshire? when mine is done maybe we will have to meet up and show off our installs, lol. (kirklees light railway anyway near you.

Edition 38
Sept 3rd, 4th 2005
Overstone Park
Northampton
Its a fantastic show but it'll be my first time entering this year.
Did you go to the Harewood show?? I live about 30 mins away from there.
I was thinking about my boot last night and really fancy polishing my amp and sub up and then getting a Audiobahn capacitors cylinder shape sat in the middle of them both all sat on a build covered in black alcantara (man made suede) to match my interior.
But also I met a guy at the weekend who sells the piping (the stuff u put round your seats etc) which lights up it sounds awful I know but it looks quality for something a bit different.

back with the boot build, well does anyone know how to suspend the sub surrounds in the air while you fibre glass it, i heard a roomer about using chicken wire, but need alittle more help then "just use chicken wire" so if anyone can explain how to do a boot build or know of any DIY on the internet then it would be most helpful
