Color coding door handles

I got a 97 MK4.
Its color is "Chagall Blue" (D5D code)
Obviously the door handles and the protectors on the sides of the doors are black.
I want to color code them.
How do I do that the best way?

They need to be taken off the car and sprayed at a garage?

you could attempt it yourself, but it would probably be best with someone who does this everyday (spraying cars), for the best finish
its not beyond diy at all, perhaps get a spray can in your colour and give it shot on some spare parts for practice and then go for it? build it up slowly in thin layers and all should be cool
