8x15 and lowering

hi i have decided to et RH Cup wheels in 8x15's was gonna lower by -40mm would the tyres rub the arch or will it be fine also if it does what options do i have
just want to confirm anything before i do the purchase cheers

im not sure what they have avail what shall i get by the way i want the wheels to stick out thats why im going for 8x15 do u think i should get 7,5x16 instead or whats best

i think they have et35 is that what i need to stop any rubbing?

If you want the wheels to stick out, they're going to rub when the car's lowered, aren't they!

i just spoke to someone at an alloy shop which have these wheels he said i will have plenty of room to lower with 195/45 tyres something like -65mm but i was only looking to go -40/45mm i was looking for this look
i thnk his car is lowered -40mm

This car is a car from a friend
He isn't at -40 !
He was at -70mm/-50mm for information
Wheel are 8x15 with distancer 15mm in front and 20mm rear

it might be ok but to be safe i'd get 7" on the front and 8" on the back

no u want 9's on the back and 8s on the front and lower it 100
