any pictures of a stealth shelf for a 6n2?

any1 post some pics on how it fits into there polo please
thinking of cutting my own, but wud like to see one b4 i start!

Is the original shelf supposed to fit on top of the MDF after, or do u just lay a acoustic mat or something?

This was made from MDF and the metal that was put in was Perferated (sp) Stainless Steel.
I put it in so that the Carpet material wouldnt sag were the speakers were.

how do i make it so the speakers will be removable whilst I have the carpet over the mdf though, doesnt the carpet get stapled down(looks like it from pics)

uummmm well dont you just get the mdf cut to size, mark where the speakers go cut the holes for them then fix the metal mesh (for the sagging) over the speaker holes at the top of the shelf and then cover the shelf in the carpet. once thats done you can srew the speakers to the bottom of the shelf

Then if you want to remove them all you have to do is un screw them

Not in a 6N2 but you get the idea...This is pretty much the most space 'efficient' way of installing 2x subs, amp, power cap, cooling fans etc.

Another option would be to install the sub/amp into the spare wheel area hrm...
