'ola people!

Recently I accidently purchased a front upper strut brace off ebay. (I bidded and forgot about it)

When it came about to fit it...I haven't a clue myself. But I've been told that I'd have to drill the holes as there don't seem to be any bolts there in the first place. Is that right? The strut brace I've got is a sparco one.

It's kind of not doing anything at the mo, wouldn't mind selling...but would rather it do something useful instead!

is it a front strut brace?

if so then yes, I believe you do - there aren't any pre-existing holes, and the suspension on a polo is a single bolt through the top (unlike some other cars) so it is trickier to fit.....

Yeah it is a front upper strut brace! Notice the lack of bolts and totally spun me out

Will keep hold of it, until I can get someone to fit it...no way am I drilling any hold anywhere !

hey ya

if u were to jack your car up, then undo the top bolt on the shocks, the suspension will drop out a few inches, allowing u to drill your holes, without causing any damage to the suspension, the when your done just do up the nut again, job done.

strut braces look well good too
