SPL1090 MP3 USB SD head unit

Post by loolah »

Anyone seen/heard/tried on of these? Especially interested if anyone is running one of these with the standard speakers in a 2002 Polo SE?

The USB memory stick / SD card part is the main thing I'm interested in, as I have loads of those & they're MUCH easier than sodding about burning CD's etc.

It looks like the business in terms of techno whizzyness but I'm wondering if its so cheap cos it sounds like two rocks bouncing around in a cardboard box..

Just a thought as an alternative. I have an ipod style hard disk music player that can fit in my cupholder, does anyone know of a head unit with a front mounted (or otherwise easily accessible) line-in that I could connect it ot, or a way of connecting a line-in to the Gamma radio?
