is it alright to buff my polo

i m thinkin bout gettin my car car valeted and buffed. i have little chips and scratches that when buffed they will hopefully come out. will i have to keep on doin this all the time once i do it once? will it wreck the paint finish?

If it's done professionally it will not wreck the paint or finish. Chips will not come out, it's basically paint that's gone. Can't buff that back on. Scratches will, for the most part - unless again they're too deep. You can do it once (properly) then maintain it by regular light buffs. A good way to clean your car is outlined in the detailing section (Car Care) of the forum.
