remove the bump strips on the doors?

now then ,,i used cotton (or fishing line) as like a saw on two fingers to cut through the glue stuff on the back of the strip then used hot water and glue remover to take the glue off and finally busted the t-cut out,be careful mate,,ive heard all kinds of nasty stories about peelin laquer/paint under em or rust,just take your time fella,,good luck

god i had open air in vynl letters on the side of my old polo, and i took it off drivers door first all went peachy then went to passanger side door only to find out that the passanger door had obviously had some work done on it and some one had laqured over the letters so i had an indent of "open air" on the side of my doors lol
