The dial on my 16v that turns the lights on/off has a problem. It seems to intermittantly work. Does anyone know how you get behind the dashboard to see if the wires are loose?

cheers

is it the knurled wheel thingy that adjusts the dash lights wot u mean? if so ull notice its connected with the headlight switch as a single unit. that whole unit usually prises off when a small flathead screwdriver is poked on the side. Then just gently pull it out to expose the wires at the back of it.

Not the knurled wheel thingy, but the actual main light rotary knob. All the lights do seem to work (except the passenger, rear cluster), but the dash lights don't :( If you fiddle with the switch, I can get the dash ones to light but they soon stop again.

I'll have a play at the weekend :)
