Today was my final day at Glamorgan Uni, my graduation.

Cheesy photo time!

Graduated with First Class Honours in Media and Cultural Studies.

Was dead impressed with the ceremony, we had Richard Attenborough and Griff Rhys Jones as guests! Wasn't expecting that!

Anyone else got any nice Graduation photos they're prepared to share? :D

Congratulations mate!!!

Nice result!

I drove past Sheffield Hallam Uni today and saw all the mortar boards etc... Must be a good feeling!

Funny you should say that, we'll be celebrating just up the road.

Planning a weekend away in Sheffield, so this time tomorrow I'll be there with my girlfriend. Gonna go to Sheffield Uni graduation night celebrations in the union. Can't wait! :)

Congratulations buddy! A first!

I got a 2:2 (Hons) in Bsc Computer Science and Geography, 50/50 with a Geography dissertation, and graduated from University College Chester (no, not Hollyoaks) in the summer of 2003, and celebrated by buying the Polo 8)

Cheese time:

When I got my first degree, I went through the whole graduation thing for the benefit of my parents who insisted on it. When I got my second degree, I graduated "in absentia" -- the whole procession thing isn't for me. I don't have any photos, only the part that matters -- the degree itself.

Deek.

heheh they're all fake scrolls these days... guess a wipable plastic one proves cheaper than endless rolls of paper!

bling bling super cool anyway krupa dude

i dont know if i want to post my own grad photo (god its dire - naturally!) but i've got a couple embarrassing ones from my bro's which i think really need to find their way onto the web somehow
(because he REALLY wanted to do it in absentia as well, but was forced to attend... muhahaha)

i think i shall be doing likewise with my second one should i pass it - i dont even think the uni (college?) i'm doing it with has a grad ceremony. Then again, playing around in a silly black robe and hat for an hour or two is worth it for the subsidised pissup with all your soon-to-disappear coursemates.

Far too much effort and kilobytes for not enough funny, but hey... seemed like a good idea at the time

doesnt beat an honest to goodness god damn FIRST though which i feel should be pointed out again
(or heck a 2.2 neither**)

* "lol" is overused to convey even mild amusement, so i propose "rlol" for "really laughed out loud".
