Hi,

Although most on here are trying to remove the rubber strips down the side of the polo I am looking to stick part of mine back on (controversial, maybe!) where is has come unstuck. Can anyone suggest the best way, i.e. glue or buying a new adhesive backing strip perhaps?

Thanks.

i had the same problem. Put some double sided tape from a car shop on in May, and it's looking a little loose in places. If you want a more permanent fix, then silicone sealant may be better, provided you are careful with it!!!

Be very very carefull with silicone sealant - it has a lot of acid in it and will cause corrosion - sikaflex is what you need if you want to glue stuff on but double sided high density foam tape is best for an easy removed if you ever need too method

much appreciated. Since only a small part is coming off will probably use the glue rather than taking the whole thing off to replace the backing.
