14 inch stock wheels are ET35
My S3-wheels are ET32. So they are mounted 3 mm wider than the stock wheels.
ET65 ? Is that ok ? That's 30 mm more than stock !
Do you use spacers ?

Actually ET35 is used only for the 5" wide steel wheel with 165/70 tire from stock (used for 55kw or lower models without sport package). There is also 6" wide 14" steel wheel for wider tire sizes that is ET43. Almost all other wheels are also ET43.. there are some votex alloys that are ET38 with 7" width available optional at least in germany for polo GT.
Anyway I'm running ET35 with 7" width without problems at the moment, looks much nicer than stock wheels that sit too deep in the arches IMO..
