Hey Y'all,

i have had my aerowipers on since march time this year so it has been a while, i used to get the odd tap from the drivers side on the pillar...was ok as they werent used too oftern.

driving into work this morning when it was raining...it was so drivin me up the wall!

has anyone had the same sort of thing? any ideas/solutions?!

didnt no if rubbing down the plastic cap on the end of the blade mite help...not sure

jus position the wipers to rest as far down as you can get them... it doesnt tap any more on mine and they're right down next to the scuttle panel

i thought i did put em all the way down but i shall have another look...

if they're still tappin they need to go at least another inch down i'd say, have them touching the plastic panel when they come to rest mate

not been up to much lately mate, started trimming the bottom half of the dash in alcantara but thats a slow process... trying to save some cash then i'll spend a bit more over the winter! gonna change the install and put the cage in the rear me thinks!

yeh had a quick look as im on lunch - probably put it down an inch like ya said

im going to be startin on my install this weekend so that should be fun...hopefully weather is going to improve

cage sounds like a plan should like to see that wen ya done

Had my aeros on for a bit and they're doing OK but it's always the driver's side one that causes problems. If you look at the dash as you position the wiper blade, you can see a little circular mark where the wiper blade should sit at rest if fitted properly. The passenger side wiper fits perfect but the driver side wiper does not. The markers, coincidentally, are marked up for the original non-aero wiper arms and blades

Anyway... my driver's side wiper knocks sometimes, in fact it was doing it today a little bit, but the worst thing for me is that my driver's side wiper drags across the window and makes a helluva racket on a dry or only slightly damp screen

I think Dubpolo mentioned I should loosen up the wiper because it looks to be on a little tight to the screen

They still look the business though, and the dragging is a lot better now (ie. happens less) than it was when first fitted... oh and yes, my wipers are as low as they will go, sitting just above the scuttle panel at rest

I had the same thing and all I did to sort it was to bend (bit of elbow grease needed) the drivers arm and that worked a treat.

well i had a look at my front wiper today and thanks scott i manage to sort just needed to be moved down an inch or so no more tapping woo hoo
