UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

I was rooting round the back of the stereo trying to attach some LED's to the switched ignition live, when something let off a little puff of smoke. I checked all the fuses and they're fine, but now the switched igition live is not working properly. I get the usual 12V out of it if I hold the key about 3/4 of the way to on, but anyhwhere else and i get nothing out of it. Am a wee bit confused, anyone got any bright ideas?
