Lever to the left of driver's seat...what does it do?

Hi,

I'm new to all this Polo stuff I've got a MK4 '98 CL.

What does the lever that is to the left of the drivers seat do (and before you say it I don't mean the handbrake! LOL).

I'm talking about the lever attached to the seat. I've worked out that the lever at the front of the seat moves it back and foward; the wheel on the side controls the backrest tilt.

If someone could tell me what this lever does and how to use it, it would be a great help as it's got me puzzled (or could be me being dim :? )

Thanks, Mo

Hi,

Thanks for the info.

How do you raise or lower the seat with the lever?

Either I'm doing it wrong or it's busted.

Thanks, Mo

Actually it's more of a tip seat adjuster than height - as it only adjusts the height of the back of the seat

Pull it and lift or push the back of the seat (its easier while your in it!)
