help! soon as possible plz plz

alright!
i currently run 6.5" coaxils in my doors i have uprated tweeters and 4 way 6x9--not amped-all runin off the head unit 4x50w ---- i wana add a sub was thinkin 12" what is the best way of runnin it amp wise---- i want to keep the tight sound i hvae know---i have thought of a 4 channel-- meanin amp the sub on 2 channels bridged and then the other two channels for the 6x9's-- what are the alternatives or the best way of doing this

It's not always a good idea to run a sub as well as 6X9's. The air movement from the sub could well destroy the ovals so i'd sugest bining them and just sticking with a sub in the boot and the fronts providing all other frequencies. Then with your 4-channel you can bridge 2 channels for the sub and have the other 2 for the fronts. Even though you'd lose two speakers, you'd gain so much more in terms of quality.

BUT

If you must stick with the ovals then yes, the way you've described it there will do the trick. You could just buy an amp dedicated to the sub but then it would probably completely drown the 6x9's out.
