BMW M Coupe- Or 'The Batmobile' as they're known. Awesome cars and I will own one at some point without a doubt.

I agree with Gary, the Integra DC5 Type-R looks stunning. I may actually be buying a dc2 integra shortly!

For me would be an early 90's Lotus Esprit. or a new Golf GTI :P

hmmm i'll have to think on that one... need a better answer than the rubbish below!

always had a soft spot for small fiats for some reason (illogical, but then, these things always are)... pandas, 126s, 500s... maybe just the cutesy factor mixed with their rough and ready nature. babying the polo round this week has made me wonder if i could maybe live quite happily driving a 500, at least for commuting purposes!

ferrari 355 as well. it's a nice example of properly sorted but not overstated design. plus it's fast, and usually red :D

oh aye, and the rover sterling my dad had once, that was special. great car when you're a kid (not so much full of toys, as solid leather-lined toy with bits of an enormous, fast car shoved in-between.. you can keep your boring bentleys!) - and he seemed to like it as well! unfortunately when the engine started playing up, the costs were a little too much to bear :(

along similar lines, you just cant beat the brutal looks and even the paper specs of a lotus carlton

and one day i shall have both the money, and the lithe physique to drive an elise. or a classic mustang and/or camaro z29 / charger.

Get one in any colour as long as it's white with matching wheels! Is this to go along side the gti?

BTW Mac your pics aren't working, what cars should they be?

quick threadjack:

when is/was this years gumball?
i was briefly following a black ferrari 360 with gumball and race-number stickers on it today, in a pack with a couple other serious supercars e.g. big ol' TVR and whatever the name of that Aston Martin coupe is again... (names never were my strong point)

though i highly doubt the route goes through the edgbaston suburbs, so maybe they're just mates

dream car?

1960's aston martin DB4 GT zagato. Triple webber carb straight 6. a thing of beauty.

however- with a value of around £800,000 - £1,000,000, its ever so slightly out of my range! I think the most recent sale went at auction in the states for £1,200,000

anyhow- failing that, i'd quite like a merc c-class hatchback coupe. something like a C230 kompressor. methinks they are nice :)

Ol' skool Ford Mustung or mk1 Golf GTI, or ultimately, a 3.0 Twin Turbo Supra with Veilside kit and 19" deep dish alloys.
