Dirty Engine Bay

hi does anyone know what i can clean my engine bay with! it's starting to look like a 50 year old car

. or a place that steam cleans engines im in the essex area( gants hill)?

best thing i've used is the autoglym engine cleaner, used with a soft bristle brush it'll de-grease and clean your engine a treat, then wash it down with water and dry it off...
i then use rubber/ vinyl shine on the pipes/ hoses/ plastics to bring them up black...
bit of elbow grease needed!

I dont trust using steam cleaners or hosing it down. thats just me though. If you do cover anything electrical with clingfilm or carrier bags.
I use motorcycle cleaner strips the dirst right off and use a clean paintbrush to get the parts i cant reach and rinse with a sponge, Dry it off and use AutoGlym vinyl na drubber car to make it all black again. For the metal i polish and wax like normal. Keeps it looking good.!
