I took my air box off. Then took the throttle body off (4 Bolts)

Took me about an hour tops to take off , clean with engine decreaser, and bolt back on - and put airbox ontop.

After cleaning it the car goes a wee bit mad till it gets used to it :P

Hmm, could this be the problem with my car?
AshLeMacq wrote:Right, after being delighted about fitting my new seat the polo has really come back and bitten my arse.

Took it to the car wash and in the middle it just died. So I guess it's possible some water could have gotten somewhere?

This is what's happeneing.

When you turn it over if it kicks in at all it hovers at about 500rmp for a few seconds and then dies, if you put your foot on the accelerator it dies right away. When my dad and bro towed it back my brother tried to kick it over as it was being towed and it kicked but just died again.

Took the engine cover off and the air filters are pretty clean, my brother thinks it could possibly be a fuel problem?

Anyone had this kind of problem before or sound familiar to anyone?
