Alarm LED and Warrenty

Does anyone know how to remove the bit around the door pins that has the flashing red light? I want to change it to a blue one....also does anyone know where to get one of these?
Also would I void my warrenty if I used non VW parts for suspension and wheels?

It's clipped. Just put a knife or something under the parte and pull

The blue ones turn up on ebay I found this:

doesnt mention 9n, but looks like it should fit.

I don't know what difference this will make but when i was looking for replacement door pin surrounds there are apparently tons of different ones according to chassis etc
so it may fit it may not
