I know theres a similar thread but Im just bored... We all work somewhere (i suppose apart from a few) but most would like to do something else. So... what do you currently do? & What would you like to do.?
Im currently an accounts assistant/Purchase Ledger,, but ideally would like to be a Fitness Trainer or something along them lines (since I spend so much time there I might aswell get paid for it / £40 an hour aint too bad either but it aint so much about the money)

I'm a shelf stacker, although I just handed in my notice.. to go and be a shelf stacker for the same company in a different place

Providing I get a job there anyway..
Other than that I'm a student, just passed my A levels and I'm off to Reading uni come september. As for what I'd like to do, I have no idea whatsoever. I'm probably going to end up an accountant like most science graduates seem too

I'm an IT technician for a local firm of chartered accountants. I left Uni with a degree in computer science and geography, applied for a few jobs that might have employed my geography skills but came up with blanks, and ended up applying to work with my current employers 18 months ago.
What would I like to do? Get a pay rise

the money isn't bad but it could be better...

Well im an IT contractor, working for Islington Council at the moment, training up all the directors on how to use the corperate version of the new o2 XDA IIi. Its a pretty nifty tool !
Anywayz i own my own IT Company but havent done that much with it to be totally honest, too much of a bum is me ! haha :-p
Anywayz ive been playing poker for a while now and eventually i want to give up the 9-5 and take poker more seriously and earn a crust from it. Prob gonna be a year or 2 before im up to that standard though.
gotta keep playing ! My best result so far was the final table at Southend casino a few months ago.

Trainee Nuclear Medicine Technician at a hospital in Birmingham. Pretty nice job, if only we were on the top floor with a skylight (windows are already big, but not perfect), the machines were quieter and we could have the radio on more, I'd stick with it forever.
As it is, it feels like a fairly good career anyway, and certainly a good stepping stone maybe to something similar in the future.
Wouldn't mind being a bicycle courier somewhere warm, though, if the wages would actually not be silly vs the risk of getting killed. That or doing hybrid/electric conversions on cars ... just mucking about with motors and cycles (or scuba-ing) in general really.
Or a researcher in a well funded biology lab looking for cures against cancer, aids, etc ... one thing about a year in diagnostics, you end up seeing the effects of such illnesses (not to mention several you likely never heard of) far closer, more frequently, and with a lot more detail and variety than you ever do elsewhere. It's shocking.
Or a sound engineer.....
screw it, there's a 101 different professions it'd be great but totally unrealistic to get into .... what are we doin'....
