Fuel Filler Door/Cap - Pics Please

Could someone kindly take me some pics of their fuel filler door/cap - specifically I need to see how flush it should sit, the inside of the door/cap, where the raised plastic 'tube' takes the central locking pin and the pin itself on the left to see how far out it sticks out when car is unlocked

I am having troubles with mine sitting flush, could be the pin? :?:

Oh I've just realised that mine being a poor 1.0E doesn't have any central locking

I took a couple of pics if you still want me to post them.

In the mean time...

ID prefer if i can use the key, when i go to the petrol station i like to get out lock the car then fill up, cant do that when the fuel cap locks! also its a pain on mine the fuel cap dosnt stay open, and ive recently screwed one of my tendons in my right hand so its rather fiddly

Excellent, many thanks for these guys - im going to post mine to compare, think it needs a fiddle to be realigned again

Never knew some had a key lock on them - thats exactly what I want on mine - at the moment, the cover can be easily forced open and petrol perhaps syphoned or whatever, im going to check the cost of such a lock version cap, found the part - p.s. how does it lock in place? just in the fuel funnel area?

Thanks again :)

Yeah you screw it into the funnel and then it starts to click, key in, lock. Job done.

Not sure how you'd do it with keys though, Can you get a barrel drilled for a certain key :?

Confoosing.

Yep, would need to be ordered thru dealer with chassis number, so the lock in it is the same as your normal key
