Here's the restyled Ibiza

So here am I, sitting in Glasgow airport, surfing their wirless hotspot just so I can bring you guys news like this:
The Ibiza is getting an Leon-eqsue makeover.

Although note that the amount of re-tooling required to achive this might mean that it will be scaled-back to just the front end and tailgate, ala the Polo's recent updating.

I kinda like it, it fits in with the other new models at least, but to be honest I prefer the larger proportions of the Leon to this facelifted Ibiza. Still, in Cupra guise with a Golf GTi engine I think this new Ibiza will be worth a second look IMO

That's a very poor p-chop to me. Look at the interior...this isn't a French car, so why are the pedals all the way to the right? Also, that's the current dash cut in half, with new Leon bits.
However, I think it's going to be like that on the front, and the rear will definately be badged like that.

Those are the current Cupra front and rear bumpers. Obviously a photoshop. Looks like it's a cross between the current Cupra and that VW Fox I think with a huge gaping front grille. Ugh!
