Hello all,

I'm buying a car off one of the members on here, and it's back is stripped out (IE no back seats)

I was just curious as to how much faster the acceleration would be without the back seats?

it depends how much power you've got in the first place. I've got a 1L mk2, thats completely stripped (including the passenger seat and carpets) and it makes a big difference to the acceloration, or should I say you dont need to put your foot down as much so you get better economy.

but with just back seats out, its unlikely to make much difference

Its a III GT Coupe...

I guessed at shaving half a second off 0-60?

I know it won't be significant and make it faster than a G40, just wondered how different it would be...
