The 17" Audi RS4's look too big IMO. Someone has got the 16" bbs on this forum and they look amazing on the gti.
Looks hell of a lot better than the standard 15's.

The 16"s are the way to go I think. That extra inch in diameter of the alloys makes all the difference to the look of the car and the way it sits
Cyhliu has got the 16" BBS RX2 splitties on his GTi, hope he doesn't mind me pinching an image of it for you...
It's lowered on Eibach SportLine springs too (approx -40mm).

Okay just like I thought 17" is just to big on a polo, 16"looks better and drives better.
But then I'm now in search of a set of BBS RXII, has anybody have an idea were I could find a set? I know I kan buy a new set at:
http://www.eurodrivegear.com/Scripts/pr ... roduct=135
But To me they are a bit expensive.
Aren't still available trough the VAG system? does anaybody have an parts number??

Gee thanks guys, Si_GTI, course I don't mind you posting photos of my car!
I'm very pleased with the way my wheels have turned out, I didn't expect anyone to notice them let alone get so many good comments.
There are a few 5 stud 16" knocking about but you would need to get some hub adaptors should you wish to go this route, I've seen it done at Worthersee but if you decide to stick with the four studs then you just have to keep your eye out in magazines and forums.
If you decide to get them new, be expecting to part with over a grand for the wheels...there're not cheap...like the budgie.
14"s, 15"s, 16"s, 17"s... I think you should do what you think suits you. There are a few GTI owners running on 17"s so it is possible...the majority, I think would stick to 15" as there are more tyre options available at reasonable prices.

im runnin 17" rs4s and the tyres are cheaper than the 15" ones. Look too Big? that amo. Its not the size mate, its the right choice of wheels. I think the rs8s are the best buy. Why have 15,16" like everyone else???? It pays to be a little different. Wait till you see the brakes that go inside my 17s!!!!... Watch this space....

Big wheels are good if done right, but so often they aren't.
For example there's an astra down my road (The round older ones... mk4?) on 17s... It looks silly, the car looks more like an off road jeep, you can see underneath the car without bending down!
If it was slammed with low profile tyres almost touch the top arches it would look sweet...
Done right, 17's.
Usually, 16's.

Still not sure, if I choose 16" but not the BBS RX II. wich rims should I choose then?? I want to keep the original look, so it should be a rim of the VW/Audi collection!!! I like this weel as well but I don't know how it wil look in 16" or 17"

. By the way i like the total car aswell
Does anybody know wich type rims these are and if they're standard VW/AUDI
