I bought the smoked rears.
The problem I have is that the fog lights are on the right (which is ok or not?)
But the main problem is when I reverse its meant to be a white light but I got red. It doesnt look like I can take anything off in order to remove the red nor does it look possible.
The only possibility I see is spraying it or something. Anyone else had the same problem? How was it solved.?
Many thanks upfront for any help received.

the best solution is to buy a red bulb for the fog light.
the law states that you MUST have the fog on the RHS of the car (looking from the rear).
and forget about the red reverse light - that doesn't matter for the MOT.... you don't even need a reverse light. That's how I've done it.

Oh the fog light is on the right side looking from the back.
The thing that concerns me is the reverse really, because its red not clear.
Bcos ppl wont know im reversing, lol they'll think im braking

sod it, just stick with the red one or risk breaking the reflector and getting rid of it bit by bit out of the back of the light!
I haven't had much trouble with a red light - it's better than no light.....

I thought it had to be clear thats what was bothering me.
I dont really want to be braking bits of the lights just to make it clear, as for spraying I dont think it will do the job.
Thanks for ur help David!

And when you've done, get some pics up cause I wanna see what these look like before I decide on getting any!

ill post some pics 4 u 2day or 2moro.
The lights aren't as dark as they look in that pic on ebay, so for my taste theyre better than i expected.
They drew in too much attention from little geeks passing by & stopin 2 have a look.... Thats when a driveway or garage would be handy.
(If you're considering buying the smoked rears I might have a spare pair,, Ill give you them cheaper than the ones on ebay- 1st see the pic i post then after that make ur decision wisely

)

its very easy to remove the filter. Ive got the original ABC design lights which are the original version of these.
The filter is on the backside so a bit tricky to remove. I used a small screwdriver and cracked this so it broke off in a few pieces. Now i got a reverse light, without any scratches or damage done to the light.

You dont legally require one, but i prefer one, as living in London (traffic

), u need one to make it clear that your reversing.
And when you've done, get some pics up cause I wanna see what these look like before I decide on getting any!
ive got mine for sale too if theres any interest>>>>its on the for sale section.

yeah thats the problem as u say in trafic and stuff.... u put in reverse and no1 knows that ur goin back so they block u in (unless u stick ur fogs on when ever reversing

... I wont be changing or cracking anything in a hurry tho....
But yeah,,, thanks guys thats what I needed to know.... If I legally needed to have the reverse in clear.
