its m.o.t time in the morning and i gave the car a once over earlier to find out the reverse lights have packed up, checked the m.o.t handbook and can't find any mention of them being a requirement..anyone know if thats right?

bulbs are fine fuses are fine and ALL other lights work perfectly..well apart from the blue l.e.d interior light half the l.e.ds have packed up but i think thats a totally different story.

Not a fail point at all. The one on my old panda didn't work in all the time I had it until I finally added a manual on/off switch on the dash for it.

hmm, maybe just your wire has got unclipped?

anyway, nope, reversing lights are purely optional (there as an accessory so you can better see what's behind at night - not as a warning to other road users!*) ... fog lights is what they get uptight about.

though i think if you had an old mk1 you could probably get away with that and all - cant remember what the manufacture date was that allowed you to not have fogs...

* not that the dopey sods ever pay ANY attention to them ever, anyway
