Check out Parkers guide and it will tell you how much the car is worth.

I got the same as what you are looking at, but without the leathers and had done 35,000 miles for £6,500.

Find out if the clutch pedel box has been changed cause all polo gti have a problem with this and i mean ALL. it should be covered under warrenty anyway.

oh what colour is it by the way??

Silver

I reckon if you can get the seller down to around £4700-4800 as intended, you'll have a good deal IMO :)

Good luck!

Its naturally heavy, you get used to it the more you drive the car, but it would be worth double-checking that the pedal box recall work was carried out - pop into a local VW dealership and ask them to check the service history of your car and this will confirm whether or not the recall was done. Letters went out to all GTi owners at the time of recall but some will have inevitably been lost in the postal system/sent to a previous owners address (the latter if a sale was made at around the time of the recall).

Once you get used to it the clutch will become second nature, I don't really register the difference until I use a different car!

yep, climate control is air conditioning, but more 'funky' with a computer that controls in 'climate' inside the car, i.e. keeps it cool depending on outside temp, or set a temp that you want etc...

CLIMAtronic 8)
