Phillips make chromed bulbs for indicators, Halfords won't stock them, but any good independent motor part seller should have them. They're standard bayonet fittings (20 watt I think?) and you just buy them as they are, take out the old ones, pop in the new ones. They'll look nice on the MK5, you won't have that annoying "boiled sweet" look in the front indicator lenses....

FYI, I'm about to try some LED type bulbs in mine. No idea whether its a good move or not, but they were cheap so what the hey.. :P

Go on www.powerbulbs.co.uk and they sell the silver/chromed bulbs and you get a free pair of philips blue vision side lights and a 10% discount for being a forum member and free delivery!! ( takes breath)

I wouldnt use led bulbs in the indicators as they will not look right when flashing as an led has an immediate response to current so will flash quicker. Unlike a normal filament bulb which reacts slower to the applied current and hence has a normal flash patern.

Led bulbs are best used as brake lights as they are fully lit as soon as you hit the break, therefore safer.

Hope this helps

I've never personally used them but i have heard raving reviews on here about both the company and the bulbs.

Go here http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... .php?t=957 and click on the link as it means the forum will get 5% and it also gives you info on how to get the 10% discount.
