anti roll bar!!!!

i have lowered my 98 polo 16v and i am experienceing the anti roll bars hitting the body!!
does anybody no why this is happening?
could i need new roll bar mounts?
any help gratefully recieved

depends how low ur car is?
i recently had my gti down about 80mm and i had the same problem!
u may need to raise it back up slightly to avoid rubbage!
my chassis now has anti-roll bar shaped dents in it
u cud get a big hammer taken to the part of the chassis where the bar hits? (i have been told to try this but opted out) i raised my car 3mm the day so i'll see how it goes at that!

i have only lowered it 40mm! i am asuming that the anti roll bar bushes are shagged! going to order some this morning i think!
anyone with ideas feel free to post them.

bushes wont make a big diff to it hittin the body...will tighten it up round bends a little, i put on powerflex ones and it was a noticeable change
my ARB sits againt my chassis at the mo... about 90mm drop...its made a nice groove for itself
